Karukinka chilean project


Karukinka is a project aimed at strengthening conservation in Chile. Karulinka’s personnel is Chilean, and their presence is at central, regional and local levels. WCS-Chile, in addition, benefits from WCS’s international expertise, which has developed 500 conservation programs in approximately 60 countries on five continents.

The organization consists of researchers, park rangers, and administrative personnel. Our staff is developing a Plan for the Public Use of Karukinka, allowing the implementation of an economically and ecologically sustainable conservation area, open to the community, benefiting the community, and representing WCS’s legacy to future generations.
